For the holiday season, MYK Silk is extending our return acceptance time frame. We will grant customers up to 30 days from the date of purchase to return/exchange items purchased between 11/15/2022 - 12/31/2022, as long as all conditions of the MYK Silk Return Policy are met.

This limited-time holiday offer provides customers an extra 16 days in addition to MYK Silk’s standard 14-day return/exchange policy, for a total of 30 days from the date of purchase.

Ex. If you purchase on 12/31/2022, the last day allotted for this policy is 1/30/2023.

You can return your items for Free within 14 days from when you received your items. If 14 days have gone by since you received your item, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Mulberry Silk refers to the silk produced by the silk worms that eat mulberry leaves, it is entirely made out of natural proteins and has proven to be the ancient beauty secret with numerous beauty benefits.

Yes, all MYK Silk products: from your favorite silk pillowcases, eye masks, sleepwear and others, all pass OEKO-Tex Standard 100, a rigorous European test for harmful substances for textile products.

Silk is measured by weight using momme (mm). 8 momme = 1 oz. The higher the Momme weight, the thicker the silk fabric, which also makes it more durable.

Silk under 18 Momme is considered lightweight and often fragile, 19 to 22 mm is considered the industry standard range of offering, and anything above that is considered heavyweight. Our Silk Goodies are made from 19 to 25 Momme pure Mulberry Silk.

There are a few rules major rules for taking care of Silk: 

Wrinkles: Remove minor wrinkles by hanging overnight.  For tough wrinkles, turn inside out, dampen the item, and iron on the lowest setting. 

Detergents: Never use bleach, laundry pods, or stain fighting detergents!  They are highly damaging to silk. Only use specialized delicate detergents.  

Washing: Treat silk like other delicate garments - hand wash in lukewarm water or machine wash cold on the delicate cycle.  

Drying: Silk is strong when dry, but weak while wet - Tumble dry low or, even better, air dry.  Never wring it!

Satin is type of weaving method that gives a type of fabric a shinny surface, but it's commonly referred to polyester (plastic) fabrics, which as none of the benefits when compared to silk.
